About Marta
Marta is a passionate yoga teacher with over 12 years of experience in providing space for students of varied sizes and abilities to experience yoga with curiosity and wonder.
She was first introduced to yoga by her Mother as a young teen. Their time together was very sacred. As her relationship with God became more personal, her practice became more intentional in its focus on Jesus Christ. The Lord placed on her heart the desire to teach Christian Yoga.
In 2010, after receiving her first 200-hour yoga teaching certification, she founded Dunamis Yoga, a Christ-centered yoga practice that draws you into the presence and power of God while strengthening your physical body and dwelling on God’s word.
Over the years, Marta has expanded her teacher’s toolbox to include trainings, studies and interests in restorative yoga, alignment-based yoga, gentle yoga, chair yoga, yoga sculpt, yin yoga and yoga with essential oils.
Her mission is to inspire seasoned individuals to embrace their highest potential through safe and accessible yoga practices that foster longevity, sustainability, and vitality in the body for graceful living.
As a lifelong student, she holds yoga certifications from Yahweh Yoga, Moksha Yoga Center, Yoga for All, Vesselify School of Yoga, and Yin Embodied Yoga.
Her sincere hope is that you feel the transformative power of yoga as you strengthen your body, calm your mind, and open your heart.
